This lovely house is situated on Nkumbe Wildlife Eco Estate in Ponta Malongane, only a 5-minute drive from the beach and a 10-minute drive north of Ponta do Ouro.

The house has 4 bedrooms and sleeps 8 people. 2 bedrooms are situated in the main house (1 x queen and 1 x twin) and the other 2 are separate from the house (1 x queen and 1 x twin). All bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms with showers (main bedroom also has a bath), ceiling fans and air conditioners. The 2 bedrooms situated separate from the house have their own kitchenette with bar fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. Bath towels are provided.

Inside the main house there is an open plan lounge (no aircon) and fully equipped kitchen. There are 3 TV’s in the house, 1 in the main lounge/dining room area and 1 in each of the 2 main bedrooms.  All 3 TV’s have DSTV. There is a washing machine, ice machine, 2 large standing fridge/freezers and all the kitchen equipment required for self-catering. The living area opens onto a large outside verandah with an 8-seater patio table and Weber braai, overlooking the bush. There is plenty of garden space for kids to run and play as well as a swimming pool. Serviced daily.

Adhere strictly to the 30km/h speed limit
Engage 4x4 at all times on the estate to help maintain the roads
Drive only on the designated roadways (save our bush, tortoises and snakes)
Do not feed the animals
No pets are allowed on the estate
Please respect those who have come to the estate for the bush experience when it comes to loud music, particularly at night

You will be required to sign in and out at the security gate.  Security will provide you with a tag.

This modern 2 bedroom house is situated on Nkumbe Estate. This property can accommodate 5 guests in 2 bedrooms and a single sleeper couch in the living area.

The 1st bedroom has a double bed, en-suite bathroom, ceiling fan and air conditioner. The 2nd bedroom has 2 single beds, en-suite bathroom, ceiling fan and air conditioner. The living areas throughout the house are air conditioned. The kitchen is fully equipped for self catering and comes with a 4 hob gas stove and oven, microwave, toaster, fridge/freezer and kettle. The kitchen, living and dining area are open plan with glass doors that lead out to the wooden deck. The dining room has a 6 seater table and chairs. The lounge has a flatscreen TV, DSTV explora - SA DSTV not Mozambique and a i-Pod docking station.

The outside deck has a 6 seater table and chairs, 3 seater couch and 3x1 seater couches and a gas weber braai. The house has a gas heater as well for those cold winter days. Outside shower with hot water and a plunge pool with 2 pool loungers.

The house has a refundable breakage deposit of R3000 which will be refunded back to you 2 weeks after your departure date.

This is a private lodge situated in the Nkumbe Wildlife Estate. Accommodation comprises a central living area including lounge, dining and kitchen with a double en suite bedroom on each side and a large deck. The house can accommodate maximum 4 adults. Ceiling fans are fitted in all the rooms. Furnishings are tasteful and the lodge is well equipped. The lodge is set at the edge of a clearing and is totally isolated from any other lodges providing absolute privacy allowing guests to enjoy the true bush experience.

This estate comprises 250Ha of pristine bush located behind the primary dune 5km north of Ponta do Ouro and 1km south of Ponta Malongane. It is enclosed by a game fence with a controlled entrance with gate house. Under construction is a reception building which is planned to be complete by December 2011. Apart from mammals already on the estate, including common and red duiker, vervet and samango monkeys, bush babies, genets etc., further introductions include impala, zebra, nyala and common reedbuck, all of which have settled in well. It is planned to introduce more species in 2012.
